Central Library

The library is situated on the second floor of the building adjacent to the court of District & sessions Judge. It is a modern library with more than 50,000 books / journals with the seating capacity of around 50 people, centralized networking and 24 hours internet line.

The library is equipped with almost all necessary books on all the statutory Laws. Similarly all the Monthly Journals of the reported cases of the High Courts, Federal Shariat Court Supreme Court and the Tribunals as being reported in

· The Pakistan Law Digest (PLD),
· Civil Law Cases (CLC),
· Pakistan Criminal Law Journal   (P.Cr.L.J.),
· Monthly Law Digest (MLD),
· Sindh Balochistan Law Reporter   (SBLR),
· Pakistan Law Journal (PLJ) and
· Supreme Court Monthly Review   (SCMR)
· Annual Law Digest (ALD),

from 1947 till date are available.

Online case law is accessible through www.pakistanlawsite.com besides case law on CDs prepared by AAlizeHH Electronic Law journal. Leading newspapers of the country are also received.

Presently the Librarian is a senior official of the staff who has been imparted the basic training in the library management in the High Court Library by its Director (Mr. Naeem Siddiqui).
